  1. Congratulations on a great first year of blogging! I enjoyed reading many of your posts, but especially liked reading about the Capital 10 Miler and how you were able to participate by helping and serving others.

  4. From one writer celebrating a year of writing about running to another, congrats!

I don’t always have a chance to read (still have a bunch of your blog posts on my “saved” list), but when I do I am impressed with your command of writing and ability to make interesting this sport of putting one foot in front of the other.

My favorite read was your three-part writeup on the Devil Dog race. You shared a deeply personal side of yourself when you wrote about your emotion, pain and achievement from that competition.

I LOVE a good race report and you write some excellent ones. I need to become a more consistent reader for this reason.

  5. I loved your Ragnar post!! It sounded like an awesome, but definitely difficult race. I also appreciated your posts about your injury and how you worked hard to come back.
